Who is Glamjerk?
I stepped into cosmetology to do more than style hair — I came to remind people of their beauty. There’s nothing like witnessing the way someone’s whole spirit shifts when they see themselves with a fresh face of makeup or a flawless new hairstyle. The glow, the confidence, the rediscovery of a self they thought was gone — that’s what fuels me. I see the beauty in people the moment they sit in my chair, and it warms my heart to bring it back to life for them. I live and breathe all things beauty, and Glamjerk is the name that embodies exactly who I am.

High School Diploma
Freelance Loctician
I did my own hair and makeup all throughout high school and for a little while in college while I studied Biology at UMBC. I ultimately dropped out because I realized it wasn't creative or vibrant enough for me. I regretfully did my own prom makeup as well. As of today my face hasn't been touched by a makeup artist.
2021-2022
Pursued Cosmetology License
Aveda Institute Los Angeles
Moved to Los Angeles during the pandemic and was aspiring to become an esthetician. I was convinced to do cosmetology after the administrator was impressed by me doing my own hair. Started pursuing the art of lashing while being a freelance hair stylist and loctician. Moved before I could finish my license and graduate.
2022-2023
Freelance Hairstylist
Became a mother. I then focused on natural hair care, and specialized in styling little kids. I continued as a loctician and hairstylist here and there. Perfecting my makeup skills along the way.
2023
Became a Certified Lash Technician
Decided to go back and finish my license. Transferred to Aspen Beauty Academy in Laurel. Continued perfecting makeup and became a Certified EyeLash Technician through Xtreme Lashes by Jo Mouselli.

Graduated cosmetology school and worked under a prestigious hair stylist as an assistant for a year. Received my certification as a makeup artist as well as became a certified wig maker, discovering my passion for wigs. I love the versatility and the creativity of the craft.
